Tom Williams
Mr. Williams has been in residential and commercial real estate for over 35 years. Mr. Williams brings a dynamic perspective to targeting, acquiring, managing, and operating assets using best practices combined with cutting edge technologies. Prior to joining Obenson Capital, he manages a real estate portfolio comprised of 2,303 apartment units and over 100,000 square feet of commercial office space valued at approximately £500 Million.
While at Vornado Realty Trust, he served in various leadership and development roles where he developed extensive experience in investors relations, underwriting, project management, entitling, value engineering and redesigning, business development, market analysis, contract negotiations, and strategic planning.
During this time Mr. Williams has built up a substantial property investors network and carried out numerous residential and commercial developments in the UK and USA.
Mr. Williams holds a B.S. in Real Estate Management and MSc Real Estate Management from the University of Nottingham.
Aside from his professional endeavours, he is a passionate philanthropist. he has served on the board for a national non-profit organisation both in the UK and abroad.
Mr. Williams is an advocate for intrapreneurship and he is the driving force for employees who want to act like entrepreneurs within the organisation. He is also an active fundraiser for British Heart Foundation, Save The Children Fund, and UNICEF UK. He serves as a non-executive director at the University of Nottingham and member of the Board of Directors.
He formerly served as a board member for Vornado Realty Trust Board, as a former board member of the Vornado Realty Trust, he made several decisions about the company’s day-to-day operations, and about the company’s long-term strategic vision, and advise the chairman on board agenda.
